KIKKOMAN

Not only my efforts help us win back the business, but the first campaign was so successful we were able to easily win the business again the following year.

2017

Kikkoman wanted to demonstrate the versatility of its Teriyaki, Soy Sauce, and it's Panko Break Crumbs to position these products as necessary ingredients for all of one's cooking needs from summer to Chinese New Year holidays.

We proposed a program that featured the Teriyaki Sauce and Panko Bread Crumb in our popular video franchise, "1 Item, 5 Ways" that uses one star ingredient in 5 different recipes.

We kept the Kikkoman products top-of-mind throughout the 10 month flight by by utilizing 24 food bloggers to create custom Kikkoman recipes. There were four flights in which bloggers created recipes for: summer grilling, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Chanukah, or Chinese New Year. From jerk chicken to turkey meatballs, the variety of recipes created awareness and demand for Kikkoman products.

2018

While Kikkoman requested that we continue using the "1 Item, 5 Ways" franchise in 2018 for its Christmas/Chanukah and Chinese New Year promotions, we also successfully pitched a new video series aimed to build brand loyalty among amateur chefs and new to hosting.

We created "First Time Hostess", featuring Influencer and professional chef Gaby Dalkin guiding budding adults, new hostesses, and Martha Stewart wanna-bes to host holidays with fail-proof recipes and advice. We created 1 "First Time Hostess" video for summer time grilling, and another one for Thanksgiving.

This video content was promoted not only with our native, co-branded amp units, but also on Gaby's blog, social channels, and her dedicated newsletters.
